  Manchester City have been charged by the Premier League for breaching financial rules more than 100 times in the space of nine seasons. The charges against the reigning champions relate to financial information regarding revenue, details of manager and player remuneration, UEFA regulations, profitability and sustainability and co-operation with Premier League investigations.  A statement from the league said alleged breaches were committed from September 2009 to to the 2017-18 season and will now be referred to an independent commission. City are also facing charges for failing to cooperate with the investigation, which began in December 2018.  It adds that the club is alleged to have breached league rules requiring provision 'in utmost good faith' of 'accurate financial information that gives a true and fair view of the club's financial position'.   Media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah has addressed a recent jab made by radio host and artist Blakk Rasta at Sarkodie. In response to a recent collaboration between the Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and Bob Marley, the presenter asserted that the iconic Raggae singer would not have approved of Sarkodie’s participation. In addition, he questioned why Sarkodie was chosen by Marley’s estate administrators before criticizing the rapper for his lackluster performance. “You’re not the only human being on this planet who adores Bob Marley. You’re not wiser than the managers of his estate. This desecration placard you’re wielding makes you look rather inebriated than concerned. Sark was featured because he’s superb. The list of the 18 richest people in Africa were all classified as “billionaires” by Forbes Magazine. All the billionaires came from only seven of the 54 African countries. Nigeria’s Aliko Dangote topped the list with a fortune of $13.5 billion. The Nigerian industrialist still topped the list despite losing $400 million in the year under review. The 2023 Forbes list of Africa’s super-rich makes Dangote the richest person on the continent twelve times in a row. Following closely is South Africa’s luxury goods mogul Johann Rupert. He placed second with a net worth of $10.7 billion. He is also reported to have lost $300 million in the year under review.
